First of all, this is NOT mandatory. I don’t want you to overthink the wardrobe! What I really want to have is comfortable people being themselves!
If doing family pictures, pick Mom's outfit first. Then girls, then boys and dad. Remember, I'm around to make you feel and look your best during pictures, so relax and just have some fun <3
Guys (and little guys) always look great in button up shirts. You can have sleeves down, rolled up, or just cuffed a little. They are easy to find and mix styles up. Henleys are also another really great look, its classic and is always in style. Even a really great fitting solid colored tee shirt can pull an outfit together.
I’m a sucker for long flowy dresses and skirts because it shows movement and can be tossed around and played with during your session (and most girls just love to twirl).
When it comes to accessories the more the better. Think about incorporating hats, bonnets, beanies, cardigans, scarves, suspenders, leggings, knee high socks, bold jewelry. Accessories are great for adding texture and dimension in your photos.
